Uchiha Madara, a pivotal antagonist in Naruto Shippuden, is introduced retrospectively throughout the series, with his physical form first shown during Kabuto Yakushi's explanation to Obito in the anime (episode 321).

Madara was a legendary leader of the Uchiha clan, co-founding Konohagakure alongside Hashirama Senju with the intent of bringing peace. However, their opposing ideologies led to a fierce rivalry and ultimately, Madara's apparent death at the Valley of the End.

Secretly surviving, Madara orchestrated events from the shadows, manipulating others to fulfill his grand plan: the Eye of the Moon Plan. This involved trapping the entire world in an infinite dream state under his control, believing it to be the only path to true peace.

Possessing immense power derived from his Sharingan and Rinnegan, Madara proved to be a formidable opponent, challenging the entire Allied Shinobi Forces and ultimately becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki, gaining near-godlike abilities before his eventual defeat.
